Why is gay used as a bad word?
Have you ever been talking to your friends and you hear them talk about a bad movie? Well i have and they never take the time to think cause automically when the movie topic comes on they say "that movie is so gay". It can be with any topic, "this birthday gift is so gay" or "this test is so gay" or "this music sounds gay". I know that it's integrated in society but why is it like that? Why can't it be changed? Where did it come from? I'm gay myself and i think it's very rude. Why can't they just use words like that's so stupid, that's so weird or that's whack? I just don't get it.

Do you think there is a connection between sexism and homophobia?
This is my first blog entry so yout goal as a fellow blogger is to answer to my question?
In all the knowledge of how sexism affects women does it affect gay men? Well here's how i think it does. Gender roles based off religion state that the women's only use is being the barer of the child. Nowadays because of societies values changing the part of gender has changed. Woman get to work at jobs and get wages just like men, however women are still treated like second class citizens. Maybe it's mens fear of their role changing. That leads us to gay rights specifically men, because of the media there are mostly effeminate gays. I don't know why that is but because the viewer only sees effeminate gays they automatically assume that all gays act like girls, and because of th gender roles in religion many still believe that women aren't equals to men. Such statements that men say to each other are "you act like a girl" you dress like a girl" "you talk like a girl" no wonder men don't want to be known as a "gay guy" "fruit" "girly man" So how do we solve this as people. Well we can't finger point but we can educate. So why not all schools teach tolerance of all sexualities all races all types of people and then maybe people would see a different light and gender would not matter people could just be who they are. Ok i know it's not gonna happen immediately but come on the sooner the better.
